Examples of What We Did In The Past!

Welcome Wagon

We provided food and resources to North Philadelphia residents with our welcome wagon. Our members interacted with local residents in an effort to bring our community together.

Philadelphia Zoo

We volunteered at the Philadelphia Zoo. We have volunteered during Halloween, for "Boo at the Zoo", and during Easter, for egg hunting activities. Our members find this to be a very rewarding experience and we provide children with a great experience at the zoo.

 Relay For Life

In 2010, we raised money for the American Cancer Society at the Temple Student Pavilion. The event is a lot of fun and students are contributing to a great cause.

Camden Tree Planting

 In the Fall 2010, we planted trees in the Camden Community.
Our organization participates in many fun outdoor Eco-friendly volunteer activities.

Silver Lining

Every year we will be fundraising to fund cancer treatment and research with our annual silver lining event. During the event, students on campus will display luminaria, paper sacks with a candle inside, along Liacouras Walk. This is to show support of those who have lost their lives to cancer, those who currently have cancer, and those who fought cancer in the past. All proceeds made will be sent to a cancer research center of the members' choice of that year.
